What To Expect (Safe, Fun, Consistent, Clean)

SAFE

The world that we live in is crazy! We know that. That’s why we try to do everything that we can to ensure the safety of your child including for starters a locked Kidz Wing. In addition a check-in/check-out process at the Connection Center on the right side of the campus, Sunday morning and Wednesday night you will be greeted with a warm smile and helpful check-in desk volunteers who have gone through several screening and clearance procedures.

Wednesday Night- 7-8 PM

Sunday Morning Kidz Connection- 9:30 AM

Sunday Morning Junior Church Kidz Connection-8:30 and 10:30

FUN

At TCP we believe that kids need to have fun at church! If we don’t allow kids to have fun at church, where can they have fun!? Because of this, there are several large-scale events that we do, including our annual Trunk or Treat, Easter Egg Hunt, and VBS. In addition to this, we also do other things like ice cream days, hiking at colonel denning, water days, and all with snacks!

CONSISTENT

Humans are creatures of habit. That’s a proven scientific fact but kids even more so need consistency. They need consistency in programming and in who is taking care of them. For this reason, we have an entire wing of our church dedicated to Kidz Ministry and a team of capable people who volunteer on a weekly and monthly basis. The other thing that’s important in consistency is learning about the Bible. You can expect that your kids will learn more and grow in their understanding of The Bible.

CLEAN

We know that the past few years have been rough when it came to trying to protect the health of our children from various viruses and health ailments. Like any organization, we made different decisions each year, and Covid-19 made its way through our area. We do not mandate any child to wear a mask or distance themselves currently but do encourage hand washing and in order to try to ensure their safety we try to provide the cleanest environment for your kids. if you see something that needs to be addressed, please let us know and we will get on it!

Prayer Mentoring

Not everyone can hold, teach or lead kids in a game. But we all can pray for them and be there for them when they are in need. At TCP we provide a pray mentoring program for those ages 3-18.

At TCP we firmly believe that our children and youth are the church of today! As a result, we try to create a safe, fun, clean, and consistent space for all of our children to gather as we learn more about Jesus!
